...ish Apparel Collection Drop
After Hallie Grossman passed away in 2023, her mom Lauren and a close friend — who had recently lost her husband — would often check in on each other. They never said they were “good," it was always “good…ish.” …ish became their shared language for living with loss — a way to acknowledge that even on their brightest days, the ache was still there.
One day, Lauren made her friend a sweatshirt with “…ish” printed across the front, a nod to the shared space between small victories and the lingering pain. When friends and even strangers started asking for their own, it became clear that “…ish” meant something to more than just Lauren and her friend.
Working in collaboration with Lauren and the Grossman family, our goal was to create a warm, ultra-comfy hoodie that hug back. Partnering with Dash Swag, we designed a fully-custom garment with premium materials and a unique stitching pattern around the hood, a subtle detail that sets …ish apart.
Whether you’re dealing with loss or even something as mundane as having a bad day, we wanted to create something that expresses this constant mix of feelings we all experience. You’re never completely sad, you’re never fully happy, you’re feeling …ish. And that’s human. We wanted to create something that lets you wear your emotions — all of your emotions — on your sleeve.
Our launch was met with immediate excitement and — after selling out of our first three colors — we've continued releasing new ...ish for each season as part of our Hallie225 Foundation apparel.
It was an honor to help share the Grossmans' story, bringing Lauren's vision to life, and continuing Hallie’s legacy — all while featuring Hallie’s close friends in the photoshoot.
